Training course "Improving Complementary Knowledge for Lecturers and Researchers in International Relations and International Studies"

The training course is a collaborative activity between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung - Vietnam, which took place on September 30 and October 1 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Welcome new students of K67

October 5, 2022, the Faculty of International Studies successfully organized the welcome ceremony for new students of K67. The future FIS-ers had the opportunity to meet, exchange and listen to the useful sharing and advice of teachers as well as their seniors from the Youth Union, Student Assiociation, the Media Club, FIS English Club, CONNECTee project, etc.

Contest "VNU Start-up Ideas - Innovation 2022"

The contest "VNU Startup Ideas - Innovation 2022" is organized by VNU to promote scientific research and innovation activities at VNU, creating an environment for students, graduate students, graduate students, and lecturers. VNU faculty members flexibly apply learned knowledge and results of research, teaching and practice. Excellent records at the VNU-level competition will be privately introduced to participate in competitions on entrepreneurship and innovation at higher levels.

FIS students shine at YICMG 2022

The final round of the contest "Youth Innovation Compatition on Lancang-Meking Region's Governance YICMG 2022" will take place from August 15-18, 2022 on online platform due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. YICMG is held annually to encourage the young generation in the region to create ideas and projects to deal with common problems in the region.

Oil crisis in 2022 and some experiences and policy solutions for Vietnam

On August 11, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) coordinated with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation (KAS) to organize the Seminar: “Oil shock: Impacts and mitigation strategies Risks – Policy Implications for Vietnam”. Attending the Seminar, on the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector), Prof. Dr. Hoang Khac Nam (Dean of the Faculty of International Studies) and a large number of staff, lecturers and researchers from the Faculty. International Studies and other faculties in the school. On the side of KAS Foundation, there was Mr. Florian Feyerabend, Chief Representative of KAS Foundation in Vietnam.

Major orientation for K65 students

On the morning of June 16, 2022, the Faculty of International Studies held a meeting to introduce majors for students K65 (course QH-2020-X-QT) of the faculty. Attending the introduction were teachers and teachers from the Faculty's Leadership Committee, heads of departments, representatives of departments and assistants of the Faculty of International Studies.

Two students defend PhD thesis on June 8, 2022

On June 8, 2022, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of International Studies held the defense of the doctoral thesis for two graduate students Le Thi Phuong Loan and Nguyen Vo Huyen Dung at rooms 302E and 307E.

Thesis defense for the academic year 2021-2022

In two days: 3/6 and 7/6/2022, Faculty of International Studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) conducted a defense session of the graduation thesis for students in the 2nd semester, academic year. 2021-2022. After 1 year of having to organize an online defense, this school year the graduation thesis defense session was held in 2 forms online and in person in the lecture hall.
