FIS students visited the UN headquarters in Vietnam

March 3, 2023, 52 students of K65 (socialized program) together with Dr. Le Lena visited the headquarters of the United Nations in Vietnam. This is an extracurricular activity of the Faculty's high-quality training program.

The delegation was welcomed by Ms. Maria Helena-Director of Support Services Office of the United Nations; Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan (Senior Specialist in Communications and Advocacy of the United Nations), and Ms. Dang Phuong Lan (Officer of the Management Support Services Office).

The student delegation listened to the sharing about the Green Transformation process of the UN office in Vietnam and the advantages and disadvantages of becoming an official of the United Nations. The students continuously asked the speakers about job opportunities, UN policy advocacy activities and green transition activities of the United Nations. This is an opportunity to know more about the working environment of the UN staffs in Vietnam.
