FIS students attended UNESCO's event - "For a future without plastic waste"

The event had the participation of three speakers, namely Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Nam, Ms. Quynh Nga and Mr. Do Viet Anh - CEO of BOO Fashion to share their views on green living and ways to reduce the use of plastic in daily life. 
The event gave students very practical knowledge about plastic waste and the importance of reducing plastic waste in daily life. Through the discussion session, students had the opportunity to understand more about the efforts of UNESCO, businesses and other stakeholders in changing consumer awareness about plastic waste as well as propose solutions. Solutions for young people to take practical action and spread green lifestyle to the community.  
Environmental protection is not the work of just one person, but requires the cooperation of everyone, including the contributions of research facilities. With the Department of International Development Studies, the Faculty of International Studies demonstrates its efforts to contribute high-quality human resources to the field of environment in particular and development in general of Vietnam.
