In the morning of April 17, 2002, an exchange session with the theme: "Overcome Your Fear" was held within the framework of the BecomingU Project, an initiative by three FIS students sponsored by the Foundation for Vietnamese Excellence and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank after the Community Initiative Contest at the aim of improving the students' sense of leadership.

When it comes to leadership, most people will think of leading, guiding a person to a person or a group. However, before thinking about leading others, a skill that everyone must master in order to achieve success is self-leadership.
Before we can learn and lead ourselves, we need to overcome our inherent fears. Recognizing the importance of this little thing, BecomingU organized an exchange to help students overcome their own fears, dare to try, dare to overcome the safety circle to change. and lead yourself.

The speaker of the exchange is Ms. Tran Thi Khanh - General Director of Viet Nhat Joint Stock Company (VIJA Link) and TOP ONE Group Joint Stock Company - who has many years of experience in the field of consulting and orientation. career, inspiring and coaching soft skills for thousands of students and young people from many universities across the country.

At the exchange, students were able to transmit their knowledge through sharing and experiences from the speakers as well as from the students themselves. Those sharing have partly helped the students find the cause of fear as well as hesitation. Since then, it has become a torch that leads students to the secrets of how to overcome their own fears. In addition, the students also partly understand who they are, what they need and want in their life and work, how to set goals and how to maintain it.

At the same time, students also learn and become familiar with the concept of behavioral style through the DISC model. DISC includes 4 behavioral patterns of 4 groups: D (Dominance), I (Influence), S (Steadyness - Consistency), C (Compliance - Compliance). Understanding our own behavior style and that of others helps us to cooperate with each other effectively, avoid conflicts in the process of work as well as in life.

The exchange ended in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere. Receiving feedback from the participating students, most of them shared their concerns and difficulties in front of the speakers. You also have a clearer view of yourself and learned how to set goals and plans to suit you. At the same time, the previously invisible fears are gradually being resolved.
