Academic exchange with K64 FIS students

April 20, 2021, the Faculty of International Studies held a meeting to introduce majors for students K64 (course QH-2019-X-QT) of the faculty with the participation of Prof. Dr. Hoang Khac Nam (Dean of the Faculty of International Studies) and the other faculty members.

Prof. Dr. Hoang Khac Nam briefly introduced the subjects of the Faculty of International Studies in terms of organizational structure, lecturers, and modules with changes in the program compared to other programs. Each major consists of 16 credits (approximately 6 modules) and the application of professional training in English. Each department has at least 1 subject in English.

Since 2015, the Faculty of International Studies has 4 major directions: International Relations, European Studies, Americas Studies and International Development Studies. The study of subjects and majors depends on the interests and aspirations of each student, the Faculty of International Studies always respects and gives advices to students in person.

Speaking at the consultation session, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Thanh Nam (Head of the School's Training Department and Head of the Division of Americas Studies) also said that the subjects of the Faculty of International Studies have similarities in the pillars, which are economic and political studies, law and foreign relations, so the students' choice of majors completely depends on their interests and aspirations.

From 2019, Faculty of International Studies applies a new training program with some adjustments compared to previous programs. Therefore, the major introduction helped students better understand their needs and have a suitable choice from the following school year.
