FIS student conference of scientific research 2022-2023

April 14, the Faculty of International Studies successfully organized the Student Scientific Research Conference for the academic year 2022-2023 with the participation of more than 70 research projects of both standard and high quality programs.

On the occasion of the International Women's Day, March 8, 2023, the Trade Union of the Faculty of Management Sciences cooperated with the Trade Union III of the Head Office, the Union of the Faculty of International Studies, and the Union of the Faculty of Archives and Office Administration held a seminar on "Love from conflicts".

Talk on international science with German speakers

December 9, 2022, the Faculty of International Studies and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation in Vietnam held a scientific discussion on German foreign policy and China's Soft Power in Southeast Asia with the presentation of two German speakers: scholar David Merkle and Dr. Celine Caro.

Oil crisis in 2022 and some experiences and policy solutions for Vietnam

On August 11, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) coordinated with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation (KAS) to organize the Seminar: “Oil shock: Impacts and mitigation strategies Risks – Policy Implications for Vietnam”. Attending the Seminar, on the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector), Prof. Dr. Hoang Khac Nam (Dean of the Faculty of International Studies) and a large number of staff, lecturers and researchers from the Faculty. International Studies and other faculties in the school. On the side of KAS Foundation, there was Mr. Florian Feyerabend, Chief Representative of KAS Foundation in Vietnam.

Workshop "Research methods for graduate students, PhD students"

Research methods play an extremely important role in the formation of a thesis or thesis of good quality. With that in mind, on May 6, the Faculty of International Studies organized a scientific activity "Research Methods for Postgraduate Students and PhD Students" presented by Dr. Edward Lahiff, lecturer in international development from University College Cork, Ireland.
