To celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20, the USSH's Labour Union organized "The Taste of October" festival with the participation of lecturers from the faculties in the University.

October 5, 2023, Youth Union and Student Association's representatives of the K68 FIS were officially introduced.

July 30, 2023, USSH held a Degree Awarding Ceremony for newly-recognzied Doctors and Masters in 2023. There are 4 new PhDs and 11 Masters in International Relations from the Faculty of International Studies.

June 13, 2023, FIS organized an introduction to majors for K66 students with the attendance by Prof. Bui Thanh Nam (Head of the School's Training Department, Head of Americas Studies Division), Prof. Hoang Khac Nam (Chairman of the Faculty's Scientific and Training Council, representative of the Department of International Relations), Prof. Bui Hong Hanh (Head of European Studies Division), Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang (Head of International Development Studies Division), Mr. Ngo Tuan Thang - representative of the Faculty Leadership Board, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Chi (K66 Learning Advisor) and K66 students.

The students had a tour of the most famous places in Thailand and experienced the country's unique cuisine in the coastal city of Pattaya and the capital Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (or as it is commonly known as Bangkok).

From 6 to 8 July 2022, FIS members of the project “social inclusion of rural migrants in Hanoi” attended the DSA2022 online conference hosted by the University College London. This is the second time that members of the project team have attended a conference of DSA (Development Studies Association).

From August 28 to September 3, 2022, team members visisted two Irish cities, Dublin and Cork. Those were the last activities within the framework of the project “Socio-economic inclusion of rural migrants in Hanoi”.

April 17, there was an exchange between the Faculty of International Studies and pupils of the Social Sciences and Humanities High School to introduce the necessary skills for university level in Vietnam and abroad.

March 21, 2023, the Conference to strengthen the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Faculty of International Studies for the term 2022-2024 took place successfully.

April 14, the Faculty of International Studies successfully organized the Student Scientific Research Conference for the academic year 2022-2023 with the participation of more than 70 research projects of both standard and high quality programs.

March 18 and 19, the Faculty of International Studies organized a field trip to Ba Vi - Seize Our Youth with the participation of the lecturers and more than 200 students of the Faculty.

March 14, FEC - FIS English Club of the Faculty of International Studies was honored to attend the meeting with the delegation of the Federation of Young Leaders New Delhi, India.

On the occasion of the International Women's Day, March 8, 2023, the Trade Union of the Faculty of Management Sciences cooperated with the Trade Union III of the Head Office, the Union of the Faculty of International Studies, and the Union of the Faculty of Archives and Office Administration held a seminar on "Love from conflicts".

December 23, Division of European Studies held an annual Christmas party with the participation of FIS lecturers and students.

December 20, 2022, the Faculty of International Studies held a seminar on "Professional Teaching in English" with the participation of faculty members and the guest speaker, Dr. Pham Van Min from the University of South Australia.

December 10, the Melody of Life 2022 contest officially ended with the theme "Listen to the Mocking Bird". The finale took place with many emotions from all the members of the program and especially the top 10 contestants.

December 9, 2022, the Faculty of International Studies and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation in Vietnam held a scientific discussion on German foreign policy and China's Soft Power in Southeast Asia with the presentation of two German speakers: scholar David Merkle and Dr. Celine Caro.

On November 14, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, received the delegation of KAS Foundation (Germany) led by Ms. Isabel Weininger, Southeast Asia & Asia-Pacific Policy Advisor. There were also representatives from the Faculty of International Studies, and the Department of Personnel, Cooperation and Development.

Faculty of International Studies is very honored to have 11 students who excellently achieved the title of "Outstanding Faces of the Youth" in 2022 for their achievements in social activities and community.
