December 20, 2022, the Faculty of International Studies held a seminar on "Professional Teaching in English" with the participation of faculty members and the guest speaker, Dr. Pham Van Min from the University of South Australia.
Dr. Pham Van Min is a former student of Faculty of International Studies and a former staff of the department of international cooperation of the USSH-Hanoi.
On the occassion of visiting the faculty, Dr. Pham Van Minh consulted the lecturers regarding teaching professional subjects in English, and also suggested many problems in building courses, preparing staffs and exchanging experiences on principles of construction, lesson design, principles and methods of assessment.

Since 2015, each division of the Faculty of International Studies (standard program) has 1 module taught in English. In the high-quality socialized program (since 2019), students are allowed to study at least 3 specialized modules in English.
In addition to the 4 compulsory specialized English courses, the number of specialized English courses is 12 at the moment.
