The talk started with a presentation by Prof. Jennifer Peeples on the topic of Intercultural Communication. With the analysis of six cultural dimensions of Hofstede, Professor Peeples made very interesting comparisons between American and Vietnamese cultures, such as individuality - collective or orientation in a long and short term.

Prof. Charles Waugh brought an interesting topic on the US Presidential election in 2024. Professor Charles has deeply discussed the characteristics of US politics, the influence of the media and predictions for next year's election.

The FIS students had very sharp criticisms and exchanges. This is also the joy of teachers in the Faculty when they see their students becoming more and more confident in international academic exchanges.

Not only that, the talk also had the presence of Dr. Le The Que, former dean of the Faculty of International Studies.
