July 30, 2023, USSH held a Degree Awarding Ceremony for newly-recognzied Doctors and Masters in 2023. There are 4 new PhDs and 11 Masters in International Relations from the Faculty of International Studies.

June 15, 2023, FIS students participated in "For a future without plastic waste" event organized by UNESCO at the UN's Green One Building in response to World Environment Day 2023 with the theme of "Solutions to plastic pollution".

June 6, 2023 - the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) had a working session with Dr. Michael Fullilove - Executive Director of Lowy Institute - Australia.

FIS K65 students had a fieldtrip in Thailand

The students had a tour of the most famous places in Thailand and experienced the country's unique cuisine in the coastal city of Pattaya and the capital Krung Thep Maha Nakhon (or as it is commonly known as Bangkok).

University of Michigan students and lecturers visit FIS

May 4, 2023, 13 students and lecturers from the University of Michigan met the students of the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Accompanying the delegation was Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan, a senior expert in Communication and Advocacy of the United Nations.

Workshop series to accompany FIS students

The Faculty of International Studies successfully organized the Workshop series "Accompanying FIS students" with the aim of cultivating, training and supplementing general knowledge for students in their journey of self-discovery, equipping them with skills to adapt to changes in all circumstances.

Instruction on annual coursework for 2nd-year students

October 10, 2022, K66 FIS class successfully organized a tutorial session on the implementation of the annual coursework with the presence of Prof. Dr. Hoang Khac Nam, former Dean of the Faculty of International Studies and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Chi, K66's academic mentor.

FIS students supported Sapa O'chau ethnic minority pupils to study online

During a fieldtrip of IDS students to Sapa in November 2020, a plan to help local pupils enhance their knowledge to prepare for the 11th and 12th-grade exams, 15 FIS students were selected for the online learning session with O'chau pupils to study Maths, Literature, History, Geography and English.

Academic exchange with K64 FIS students

April 20, 2021, the Faculty of International Studies held a meeting to introduce majors for students K64 (course QH-2019-X-QT) of the faculty with the participation of Prof. Dr. Hoang Khac Nam (Dean of the Faculty of International Studies) and the other faculty members.

“Overcome Your Fear to Lead Yourself Better”

In the morning of April 17, 2002, an exchange session with the theme: "Overcome Your Fear" was held within the framework of the BecomingU Project, an initiative by three FIS students sponsored by the Foundation for Vietnamese Excellence and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank after the Community Initiative Contest at the aim of improving the students' sense of leadership.
